One of my favorite painting practices is painting on location. En Plein Air provides plenty of opportunities for the perfecting of craft but is also an amazing way to create art in an organic setting. To hear the birds as they fly overhead, or the grasshoppers amongst the grass, to observe the swaying wildflowers and feel the breeze of the wind is a unique experience that studio painting does not provide.
